Tooth-Colored Fillings
Tooth-colored fillings are 100% mercury free fillings made from a tooth colored plastic mixture filled with glass particles. Tooth-colored fillings can be used to restore decay and to improve the aesthetics of a smile. The placement of tooth-colored fillings is a more conservative procedure than the placement of a silver filling, meaning that a tooth-colored filling leaves more of the natural tooth remaining and does not weaken the tooth like a silver filling does.
