Crowns
Crowns (also known as caps) fit over and replace the entirety of a decayed tooth above the gum line. The Crown and the gumline form a seal, preventing future damage to the tooth from bacteria.
The procedure to place a crown over a damaged tooth involved several steps. First, Dr. Kasarsky will numb the area around the tooth with a jelly like substance, followed by the injection of an anaesthetic so that the procedure will be as pain-free as possible.
If you need a tooth restored with a crown contact Dr. Kasarsky's
Manhattan office.
